Over the last week I have heard so much about success.... Success in weight loss, in getting a new job, in getting through the summer vacation with kids out of school, success in cooking your own meals or packing your lunch. Being successful in getting to the gym or going for a walk.

We all want success, but what does that really mean?

Ralph Waldo Emerson reminds us "Success is to laugh often and much...to appreciate beauty...to give of one's self. To have played and laughed with enthusiasm and sung with exultation." It is a good reminder that success is not a destination, it is a journey. Each day your experiences take you along the path of life, you have the choice to laugh, appreciate beauty, give to yourself and others. You decide if each day is a "success" or not.

So as you continue through the rest of your week, remind yourself that each day you are on a journey and can experience success in small ways on a daily basis. If we just put our head down and push full speed ahead, we don't arrive at this thing called success, rather each day we have the opportunity to create the life we want to live.
Have a great day and keep up all the hard work!

Dedicated to your success!

Midweek Motivator- June 3, 2010

So often we are "stuck". Maybe it is a job we don't love, a relationship that doesn't fulfill us, or maybe it is a pattern that keeps us in a cycle of self-sabotage. I hear so often from clients that they want to be free from ____________ (fill in the blank with what you are stuck in.

"A man who is willing to accept restriction and barriers and is not afraid of them is free. A man who does nothing but fight restrictions and barriers will usually be trapped." -L. Ron Hubbard

What Freedom are you looking for? What is keeping you from the success you really and truly want and deserve? Making a change is not easy; Diving into the unknown and not being afraid of what we might encounter is even harder. But no one would have ever crossed the ocean if he/she could have gotten off the ship half way there when a storm hit...

Take a quick minute to write down one thing that will help you move away from being stuck and trapped and into the unknown, into true freedom to succeed!

Dedicated to your success,
Sara
